Accomodations

A 14th-century historic residence located on the top of Montecatini Val di Cecina. It canbe rented whole or to single rooms on a bed-and-breakfast basis. It consists of four habitable floors, three of which are devoted to rooms and one to the kitchen.

Spacious and comfortable, the bedrooms are arranged one per floor, each with a private bathroom On the second floor is the kitchen where breakfast is served for those who want it, and at the top is the panoramic terrace with 360-degree views of the Cecina and Era Valleys.

Expertly restored in the 1960s, the Tower offers guests modern conveniences along with timeless charm.
Also available near the Tower, on a separate area of the same garden, is L’Orielda, an apartment made out of an old stone house.

Unparalleled beauty is the phrase that comes to mind in describing this breathtaking tower residence. Our hosts were so kind and helpful in arranging our stay, from warmly welcoming our family on arrival to making reservations for dinner at the local restaurant (which was delicious). Inside the tower you enjoy stunning views of the Tuscan countryside.  Somehow, Luca and Amelia have fashioned five-star rooms inside a medieval tower, allowing us to enjoy the ambience of ancient Tuscany in maximum comfort. Most amazing Airbnb we've stayed in! My family of 6 and I stayed here as part of our 3 month Europe trip and absolutely loved it. Luca and Emilia are wonderful, very personal hosts. They thought of everything to make a stay in the castle tower so special. The tower was stocked with everything needed and Luca was very quick to respond. If it wasn't for needing to get to our next location, we would have stayed another night! Luca was very knowledgeable and willing to share that knowledge! We are already making plans to return.

We loved Luca's tower accommodation. It's absolutely beautiful and fascinating. The rooms are lovely, with good bathrooms on each floor and a nice big kitchen. If anyone is passionate about medieval castles and stories, you'll feel like you're inside an ancient tale as you climb up and down the old stone stairs of the tower and look out onto the surrounding lands from the windows and from the very top. Note that there are a lot of very steep stone stairs inside (after all, it's a tower) and it's also a steep, tight drive up to the location, but if you're fit and willing it's definitely worth it. Highly recommended and Luca was very welcoming and kind. Spectacular views, a cute restaurant nearby booked by Luca. Bellissima esperienza
☺ Torre dei Belforti è situata nella parte più alta di Montecatini Val di Cecina, un paese storico della Toscana meno battuta dal turismo di massa, ma non per questo meno affascinante e romantica. Dai suoi vicoli si apre una vista panoramica sulla Val di Cecina, disseminata da collinette coperte dai campi di grano, e sullo sfondo Volterra e le colline circostanti.
Arrivare con l'auto alla Torre dalla piazza principale del paese non è complicato, grazie all'aiuto di Luca, il proprietario, che ci ha raggiunti e fatto strada. La tortuositá dei vicoli richiede comunque un buon colpo d'occhio ed un veicolo non troppo grande. 
L'accoglienza di Luca e della moglie Emilia è stata impeccabile e professionale, con una passione e dedizione che si legge nei loro occhi.
Abbiamo prenotato la camera all'ultimo piano. Le scale non erano impegnative da salire come pensavamo e la stanza era stupenda e di impatto, arredata con pezzi di design con molto gusto. Il bagno era piccolo, ricavato nello spessissimo muro esterno, ma comunque pratico. Il riposo è stato perfetto, nonostante il vento fuori si facesse sentire ed il campanile rintoccasse le ore anche di notte. Ma faceva tutto parte di una favola medioevale, che chi vuole vivere non potrà fare a meno. L'accesso alla terrazza sul tetto è una chicca con vista a 360 gradi. Da visitare il parco circostante con gli ulivi ed un'amaca panoramica da cui non vorresti scendere più.
La colazione, non inclusa, vale la spesa per abbondanza e qualità dei prodotti.

☺ Abbiamo soggiornato nella camera della principessa,  all ultimo piano della torre.  Un'atmosfera unica, una vista strepitosa, una bellissima esperienza,. Luca ed Emilia sono due  persone accoglienti e amichevoli, è stato molto piacevole chiacchierare con loro. Premio extra a Totò per la sua simpatia travolgente!

☺Des hôtes tout simplement exceptionnels, très humains et simples, qui te font sentir à ton aise. Toujours disponibles pour n’importe quelle requête, ils nous ont fait nous sentir comme à la maison dans un cadre magnifique. Un retour dans la passé entre ces murs mélangé à la modernité de la décoration. La chambre du dernier étage offre une vue à couper le souffle, sans parler de la terrasse! Nous avons séjourné avec un bébé de 6mois et il y avait tout ce qu’il fallait pour satisfaire nos exigences. Non avrei mai immaginato che una torre del 1300 fosse adibita ad hotel. Esperienza unica e spero ripetibile. Accoglienza super da parte di Luca e sua moglie. Già da fuori ti rendi conto che entrerai in qualcosa di magico e così è stato. 3 sole camere, una per piano, molto grandi e calde tanto da non aver acceso il calorifero. La pietra che ti circonda e le strette e ripide scale che portano alle camere sono intervallate da piccole finestre e feritoie, ogni metro è una scoperta. Arredamento consono ad un castello. Eravamo all'ultimo piano con vista sui 3 lati sulle immense colline toscane. A disposizione anche la terrazza sul tetto. Trovo difficile esprimere a parole la sensazione che si prova.
